PENGELOLAAN PENGAMANAN PERBATASAN INDONESIA

The problems in a nation border are not only a miss-management and how to protect its land from the enemies, but also a more fundamental, which the delimitation and demarcation are still in the process of negotiations. Indonesia has ten points unresolved border well with countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, India, Thailand, Timor Leste, and the Republic of Palau. In addition, many tensions related to border issues with a number of countries such as occurs in Ambalat block between Indonesia and Malaysia, or also in the border tension between Indonesia and Timor Leste. This paper will examine how the management of border security in Indonesia. In this paper also will discuss the perspectives on border security management, and this paper will outline the management of border security with various prerequisites supporters, referring to the five points of border management.
