Hybrid inorganic-organic polymer is a polymer that has Inorganic as well as organic chains in one molecule. Our previous results show that the synthesized hybrid polymer based on 3-(Trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate (TMSPMA) is having high optical clarity and sufficient thermal stability. The polymqr precursor has good solubility in organic solvent as well as high solid state solubility of fluorescent dyes. We used the hybrid inorganic-organic polymer material as host material for dispersed red-green-blue (RGB) fluorescent dyes. The hybrid polymer precursor was synthesized from TMSPMA monomer by using sol-gel method. In order to obtain visible emission spectra, fluorescent dyes of Nile Red (R), Coumarin 6 (G), and Coumarin I (B) were blend with several composition and doped into hybrid polymer host material. The resulted material then was spincoated on the glass substrates and photopolymerized using UV light. The fluorescent spectra of the material were measured in the Integrating sphere using USB 4000 Ocean Optic spectrometer with excitation. wavelength of 370 nm and the color coordinate of the material was calculated using tristimulus equation integrated in the spectrasuite software. The result show that the range and intensity fluorescent spectra and color coordinate depend on RGB blend composition. By using excitation wavelength of 370 nm, the samples generate spectra in trie visible range. This result indicates that the prepared samples can be used as color conversion material.
