Gender inequality is a condition of inequality in gaining access to employment, education, and health between females and males. This phenomenon has become a particular concern in many countries because of its adverse impact on the economy, especially on poverty. Using the Indonesia Family Live Survey wave 5, this study shows that education inequality, income inequality, and the existence of non-productive and productive males in the household have positive effects on household poverty.
