Respons Beberapa Sifat Kimia Inceptisols Asal Rajamandala Dan Hasil Bibit Kakao (Theobroma Cacao L.) Melalui Pemberian Pupuk Organik Dan Pupuk Hayati

Suatu penelitian untuk menelaah respons pH, C-organik, N-total tanah dan bobot bibit kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) akibat pemberian kascing dan pupuk hayati, telah dilaksanakan di PTPN VIII Kebun Rajamandala Kabupaten Bandung mulai bulan Juli 2007 sampai dengan bulan November 2007. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Adapun perlakuannya adalah A = 100 % anorganik; B = 10 g kascing + 100 % anorganik; C = 10 g kascing + 50 % anorganik ; D = 20 g kascing + 100 % anorganik; E = 20 g kascing + 50 % anorganik; F = 10 g PHE + 100 % anorganik; G = 10 g PHE + 50 % anorganik ; H = 20 g PHE + 100 % anorganik ; I = 20 g PHE + 50 % anorganik. Terdapat 9 perlakuan yang diulang 3 kali. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kascing sebagai pupuk organik ataupun PHE sebagai pupuk hayati pada dosis 10 g yang dikombinasikan dengan 50% pupuk anorganik memberikan pengaruh bermakna terhadap peningkatan pH tanah, akan tetapi tidak terhadap C organik tanah, N total tanah, KTK tanah, dan bobot kering total tanaman bibit kakao (Theobroma cacao L).

An experiment to evaluate the effect of kasting as organic fertilizer and biofertilizer on soil chemical characteristics and growth of cocoa seedlings (Theobroma cacao L.) Upper Amazone Hybrid (UAH) cultivar was conducted at the PTPN VIII Rajamandala Distric Kabupaten Bandung, from July until November 2007. The design of the experiment was randomized block design. There were nine treatmens : Each treatment for a polybag were contained : A = 100 % anorganic; B = 10 g kascing + 100 % anorganic; C = 10 g casting + 50 % anorganic ; D = 20 g casting + 100 % anorganic; E = 20 g kascing + 50 % anorganic; F = 10 g biofertilizer + 100 % anorganik; G = 10 g biofertilizer + 50 % anorganik ; H = 20 g biofertilizer + 100 % anorganik ; I = 20 g biofertilizer + 50 % anorganik. The treatment was replicated three times, so there were 27 treatmens. Each treatment consisted 5 plants.

The results showed that the casting as organic fertilizer (10 g) or biofertilizer (10 g) with combinating of 50% anorganic on gaving of significant effect on increasing soil pH, but not gave effect on soil total N, organic carbon, soil CEC, and total dry weight on the seed of cocoa (Theobroma cacao. L) on Inceptisol from Rajamandala.
