The research was intended to discover the degree of prejudice, among students from Aceh and Papua who were studying in Bandung, toward Javanese and Sundanese. The measurement was taken using the Racial Prejudice Questionnaire, which applies the semantic differential technique from Osgood and Suci ranges from –3 to +3. The questionnaire includes 8 aspects of prejudice; namely, intellectual inferiority, cultural/individual attributes, status, morality, avoidance, anti-social, violence, and spirituality. The data was statistically analyzed using the student t-test, to assess the difference between the mean prejudice toward the Javanese and that toward the Sundanese, among the Aceh students and the Papua students. The results show that the degree of prejudice among Aceh students toward the Javanese is relatively high, while toward the Sundanese is low. The degree of prejudice among the Papua students toward the Javanese as well as toward the Sundanese is relatively high. Furthermore, there are significant differences (p0.05) from that toward the Javanese. Finally, the degree of prejudice toward the Sundanese is significantly different (p0.05).
