Studi Deskriptif Mengenai Job Involvement Karyawan Divisi Operasi Aero Engine Di PT. Nusantara Turbin Dan Propulsi Bandung

Strategic Business units – the Aero Engine Services (SBU-AES) is one of the business units in the company of Nusantara Turbines and Propulsion of Bandung which focuses on service maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft engines. SBU-AES is the company’s spearhead that characterize PT. NTP as a repair station in the world of aerospace, in particular the operating division of Aero Engines that are directly related to the productivity of the SBU-AES. Therefore, it needs human resources involved in his work that appeared optimal performance in achieving the objectives of the organization. This research was undertaken which sought to find out how the level of employee involvement, including all the job involvement’s components. A descriptive study of the research design is shaped by using a measuring instrument in the form of a questionnaire Job Involvement from Lodahl&Kejner (1965) developed and adapted to the context of the work of the employees of the operating divisions of the Aero Engine (reliability = 0,861, N= 60).The results showed that most of the employees are on high job involvement (70%), which means that employees identify psychologically that the job was the most important thing in their life.
