Pengaruh Work Family Conflict Terhadap Coping Stress Pada Tenaga Perawat Rumah Sakit Ibu-anak Di Kota Bandung

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work family conflict terhadap coping stress. Penelitian dilakukan di 3 (tiga) rumah sakit ibu-anak (RSIA) di kota Bandung. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 59 orang tenaga perawat dengan karakteristik sudah menikah dan memiliki anak yang memaknakan work family conflict sebagai stressor. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner work family conflict dari Carlson (2000), kuesioner stress appraisal dari Lazarus (1985) yang telah dimodifikasi dan kuesioner coping stress inventory dari Tobin (2001) yang berpedoman pada skala Likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik path analysis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, work-family conflict memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap coping stress. Work-family conflict memiliki kontribusi sebesar 18,6% terhadap tipe problem-focused coping, sehingga terdapat pengaruh dari variabel lain sebesar 81,4%. Work-family conflict berkontribusi sebesar 30,7% terhadap tipe emotion-focused coping. Ini berarti 69,3% menunjukkan bahwa tipe emotion-focused coping pada tenaga perawat dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
This study was conducted to determine the effect of work-family conflict towards coping stress. This research conducted at 3 (three) mother and child hospital in Bandung City. Subject of the study are 59 female nurses whose married and has children, that appraise work family conflict as stressor. The data collection instrument uses work family conflict questionnaire from Carlson (2001), stress appraisal questionnaire which has been modified from Lazarus(1985) concept theory and coping stress inventory from Tobin (2001). Researcher used path analysis technique to analyzing the data. Based on the results, work-family conflict has significant effect towards problem-focused coping type at the amount of 18,6%, so that there are 81,4% influences from other variable. Work-family conflict has 30,7% effect towards emotion-focused coping type, it means 69,3% shows there are other variables which hadn’t examined influences emotion-focused coping type.
