Respons Pertumbuhan Dan Kualitas Tiga Kultivar Aglaonema Terhadap Kompetisi Media Tumbuh Arang Sekam,Cocopeat Dan Zeolit Serta ZPT Sitokinin

Aglaonema, Cytokinine and Zeolit, Growing Media
The aim of the experiment was to study and get the growth media composition with cytokonin consentration that could give the best effect on growth and quality of Aglaonema ‘Fit Langsit’. The experiment was held at the Green House Faculty Of Agriculture, Padjadjaran Univercity, Jatinangor with an altitude of about 740 m above the sea level. The experiment was conducted from July 2007 until Oktober 2007. The material that used was Aglaonema plants which has 5-8 leaves. Randomized block design was used with nine treatments and three replications. Growth media composition using were mixed of carbonated rice hulls, cocopeat, zeolite (3:2:1) and (4:2:1), whereas a control used fern, humus, malang sands, cocopet (2:1:1:1) combined with cytokinin 0 ppm, 50 ppm, 100 ppm, and 150 ppm concentration sprayed to Aglaonema ‘Fit Langsit’ leaves once two weeks. The result of plants growth showed that growth media composition of carbonated rice hulls, cocopeat, zeolite (3:2:1) combined with 50 ppm cytokinin gave the increasing wide and length of leaves than the other treatment, whereas growth media composition of carbonated rice hulls, cocopeat, zeolite (4:2:1) combined with 50 ppm cytokinin has made the leaves longer and wider than the other treatment.
