Fracture in women usually relates in osteoporosis. Estrogen decreasing will cause imbalance function between osteoblast-osteoclast activity. This circumstances will cause decrease bone mass density. This paper have objective to give a comprehensive review about osteoporosis and relation with fracture in elderly women. The conclusion of this paper are With the increasing population of elderly women, orthopaedic surgeons must be proactive in secondary prevention of fragility fractures
