Kualitas bidan pelaksana pada D3 Kebidanan dihasilkan melalui seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru yang baik. Adanya perbedaan Indeks Prestasi (IP)mahasiswa yang masuk berdasarkan ujian dan rapor, serta rendahnya IP mahasiswa yang masuk berdasarkan ujian yang mempunyai nilai 4L (lulus 4 matauji) 50% mempunyai (IP<2,75). Tujuan penelitian menganalisis hubungan antara nilai tes masuk mahasiswa berdasarkan ujian dan rapor dengan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK), menganalisis hubungan nilai pelajaran pada tes masuk berdasarkan ujian dan rapor dengan nilai Asuhan Kebidanan serta nilai ujian praktik. Metode penelitian cross sectional, menggunakan data sekunder, jumlah sampel 83 mahasiswa semester 6 (enam) tahun akademik 2011-2012. Data dianalisis secara bivariabel menggunakan t-tes, Mann-Whitney, dilanjutkan dengan korelasi Person. Penelitian dilakukan di Prodi D3 Kebidanan Universitas Tulungagung bulan April-Mei 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata IPK mahasiswa yang masuk berdasarkan ujian(2,98) dan rapor(2,91). Tidak ada perbedaan dan korelasi yang bermakna antara IPK mahasiswa yang masuk berdasarkan ujian dan rapor (r=0,11; p>0,05). Rerata nilai Asuhan kebidanan mahasiswa yang masuk berdasarkan ujian(69,25) dan rapor (69,41). Nilai Bahasa Indonesia pada mahasiswa yang masuk berdasarkan ujian mempunyai korelasi bermakna dengan Asuhan Kebidana (r=0,27*;p<0,05) . Rerata nilai ujian praktik mahasiswa yang masuk berdasarkan ujian(75,15) dan rapor (74,47). Tidak ada pelajaran yang mempunyai korelasi bermakna dengan nilai ujian praktik(p>0,05) .Simpulan penelitian tidak terdapat hubungan antara nilai tes masuk mahasiswa berdasarkan ujian dan rapor terhadap IPK, terdapat hubungan positif antara nilai bahasa Indonesia pada tes masuk berdasarkan ujian dan rapor dengan nilai Asuhan kebidanan, serta tidak terdapat hubungan antara nilai pelajaran pada tes masuk berdasarkan ujian dan rapor dengan nilai ujian praktik. Bahasa Indonesia mempunyai hubungan paling dominan dengan Asuhan kebidanan. Institusi pendidikan kebidanan perlu mengembangkan sistem seleksi yang dapat dijadikan sebagai standar penerimaan mahasiswa baru di D3 Kebidanan.

The quality of diplom midwivery education program is associated with good students admission process.The self evaluation report stated there were difference on the grade point average (GPA) between studens admitted based on testing result and based on high school report, as well as 50% of students admitted based on testing achieved 4L (pass 4 subjects) had low GPA (IP<2,75). Theoretically students who were admitted based on high school report have better achievement than students who accepted based on testing result. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between admission test scores of students who were accepted based on testing result and based on high school report with their cummulative grade point average ( CGPA), as well as between the scores on admission subject (Math, Sciantist, Indonesian Language, English Language) with the scores of midwifery care subject and practice exam. This study was conducted with cross sectional method, using secondary data drawn from 83 of 6 th semester students who were registered in academic year 2011-2012. The statistical analysis used student t-test, Mann-Whitney and followed by Person correlation. This study was conducted in University D3Midwifery education program during April-May 2013. The result found that mean of GPA students admitted based on testing result (2.98) and report value (2.91). There was not difference and correlation with (GPA) students admitted based on examination and report(r=0,11; p>0,05). The mean of Asuhan Kebidanan, students were joint depent on examination (2.98) and report (2.91). Indonesian Language on students admitted based on testing resulthad weak correlation with average score of the midwifery care subject (r=0,27*;p=<0,05). There was not correlation between subjects and the average of midwifery practical examination scores (p>0,005). This study concluded that there was not correlation between the scores of students who are admitted based on admission test and based on high school report to the GPA. There is positive correlation between the scores of the subjects between students who was accepted based on test and based on report cards to the score of Midwifery care subjects, there is not correlation between the assessment of incoming test scores of students who were accepted based on test and based to the score of practice exam.Indonesian Language has correlation very dominant wih Midwifery care subject in D3 Midwifery education program Tulungagung University. Midwifery education institutions need to develop a selection system that can be used as an admission standards in D3 Midwifery program.
