Abstrak

Peranan Komunikasi Pemerintahan Dalam Pelayanan Investasi Di Kabupaten Wajo Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan The Role Of Government’s Communication In Invesment Service Of Wajo Regency Province South Sulawesi

Dalam hubungan pemerintahan, dimana proses komunikasi pemerintahan berlangsung, pemerintah berperan sebagai komunikator untuk menyampaikan informasi dan pesan pelayanan investasi melalui proses komunikasi kepada masyarakat sebagai komunikan, dengan menggunakan saluran komunikasi tertentu, sehingga masyarakat dapat menerima dan memahami pesan itu secara tepat serta sedapat mungkin terbangun feedback. Fokus penelitian ini adalah Peranan Komunikasi Pemerintahan Dalam Pelayanan Investasi di Kabupaten Wajo. Permasalahan yang diajukan adalah untuk menjawab masalah bagaimana peranan komunikasi Pemerintahan dalam mewujudkan pelayanan investasi di Kabupaten Wajo. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengungkapkan menemukan konsep baru tentang peranan komunikasi pemerintahan dalam pelayanan investasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, dan peneliti sendiri adalah sebagai instrumen penelitiannya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa peranan komunikasi pemerintahan dalam pelayanan investasi di Kabupaten Wajo belum terwujud, karena kualitas komunikator dalam proses pelayanan investasi belum mampu memberikan layanan informasi yang efektif, proses penyampaian layanan informasi kepada komunikan tidak akurat, komunikan seringkali tidak dapat mengakses layanan informasi secara utuh, media saluran komunikasi yang belum terjangkau, dan lingkungan komunikasi yang belum efektif dalam berkomunikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka temuan baru yang diangkat yakni kapasitas komunikator pemerintah dalam pelayanan investasi sangat berpengaruh bagi keberhasilan komunikasi pemerintahan.

Research was conducted with the aim of revealing the role of government communication and discover new concept of government communications relating to investment services. This research was conducted using qualitative methods, and the researcher himself is as an instrument of research. Data collected through interviews, observation, and document review. The results illustrate that the still non-existent role of government communication in the service of investment caused by the communicator is still low quality, lack of appropriate sources of information, insufficient use of communication media, communicant not obtain accurate information and an atmosphere that has not been good communication. To that end, efforts to realize the role of government communication in the service of investment is closely connected with the quality of communicators, information sources, communication media, communicant, and the atmosphere of communication. Based on this research, the new findings raised the capacity of government communicators in the ministry of investment is very influential to the success of government communication.
