Avocado (Persea americana Mill.) is one of the plants that grow in the tropics and subtropics. Based on previous research avocado leaves has an activity to inhibit the formation of kidney stones. The current study aims to determine the emetic activity of leaf extracts of kidney stones avocado (Persea americana Mill.) and to determine the dose of extract of leaves of avocado (Persea americana Mill.) that gives the best activity as a laxative kidney stones in white mice induced by hydroxyproline. Hydroxyproline were used at 2.5 g / kg given either intraperitonial with a volume of 10 ml / kg. Emetic activity of kidney stones is done by observing the level of calcium in the urine and the ratio of kidney weight to body weight. The test results showed that each dose of the extract doses of 75, 150, and 300 mg / kg body weight kidney stones give emetic activity seen in the levels of calcium in the urine were tested with AAS and the ratio of kidney weight to body weight. Doses emetic activity of extracts that provide the best kidney stone is a dose of 300 mg / kg body weight of the three doses used.
