Abstrak

Dampak Gaya Kepemimpinan Dan Kompetensi Komunikasi Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Dan Kepuasan Komunikasi Karyawan (Studi Kasus Pada Hotel Abc Bandung)

Era globalisasi dunia usaha ditandai dengan terbukanya persaingan yang ketat di segala bidang, Hal ini merupakan suatu tantangan bagi pelaksanaan pembangunan bangsa Indonesia. Organisasi–organisasi menghadapi tantangan untuk mampu meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia agar memiliki keahlian khusus sehingga mampu bersaing dengan dunia usaha. Kualitas gaya kepemimpinan seringkali dianggap sebagai faktor terpenting dalam keberhasilan atau kegagalan organisasi. Kesesuaian dalam gaya kepemimpinan tidak lepas dari adanya kompetensi komunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan, kompetensi komunikasi, kepuasan kerja dan kepuasan komunikasi di Hotel ABC Bandung serta untuk menguji pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan kompetensi komunikasi terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kepuasan komunikasi karyawan Hotel ABC Bandung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Metode ini digunakan untuk mengkaji populasi yang besar maupun kecil dengan mengkaji sampel yang dipilih. Arahnya adalah membuat taksiran yang akurat mengenai karakteristik-karakteristik keseluruhan populasi. Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan instrumen kuesioner kapada para staf di Hotel ABC Bandung dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 111 orang. Untuk memproses data dengan bantuan program PLS Smart. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data kuesioner ditemukan bahwa pengaruh kompetensi komunikasi lebih besar pengaruhnya terhadap kepuasan kerja dibandingkan gaya kepemimpinan. Sedangkan kedua variabel yang dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan komunikasi menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan kompetensi komunikasi tidak berbeda jauh meskipun kompetensi komunikasi masih lebih besar pengaruhnya terhadap kepuasan kerja dibandingkan gaya kepemimpinan. Dari total pengaruh terlihat bahwa Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Kompetensi Komunikasi mempengaruhi lebih dari 50% kepuasan komunikasi.

The quality of leadership style is often regarded as the most important factor in the success or failure of an organization . Conformity in leadership style can not be separated from the existence of communication competence . This study aims to determine how the leadership styles , communication competence , job satisfaction and communication satisfaction at ABC Hotel Bandung as well as to examine the effect of leadership style and communication competence on job satisfaction and employee communication satisfaction ABC Hotel Bandung . The method used in this study is a survey method . This method is used to examine large and small populations by studying samples selected . The aim is to make an accurate assessment of the characteristics of the entire population . Data obtained by distributing a questionnaire instrument hello to the staff at ABC Hotel Bandung with a total sample of 111 people . To process the data with the help of the Smart PLS program . Based on the results of the questionnaire data processing was found that the effect of communication competence greater influence on job satisfaction than leadership style . While the two variables that can affect communication satisfaction shows that the influence of leadership style and communication competence does not vary much though communication competence still greater influence on job satisfaction than leadership style . Seen that the total effect of leadership style and communication competence affects more than 50 % of communication satisfaction.
