Faktor Predisposisi Penghambat Ibu Dalam Menyusui Bayi Secara Eksklusif Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kiaracondong Bandung

Breast milk is natural and best nutrition for babies because it needs suitable for the needs of the baby. The process of breastfeeding is good and right will give a very good psychological effect, particularly in the bonding relationship between mother and baby. The prevalence of exclusive breastfceding in urban areas was lower than in the countryside. This is caused due to a predisposing factor that inhibits exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study to determine the predisposing factors that can inhibit exclusive breastfeeding. the samples were 64 mothers who had infants aged a 6 months in the working area PHC Kiara Condong. Cross sectional research design. descriptive data are processed by univariate analysis and analytic with bivariate analysis using chi-square.The results showed a significant correlation relationships between factors predisposision consisting of age, place of employment, education, information and knowledge of mothers with inhibitors mothers in exclusive breastfeeding. It is recommended for health workers to increase the provision of information about exclusive breastfeeding to the community.
