PERUBAHAN PERILAKU MASYARAKAT UNTUK MENGURANGI PENCEMARAN AIR OLEH ESCHERICHIA COLI

Water pollution is mainly caused of organism, substances, energy and compounds that have defiled the water. These substances may cause the water quality usage up to the level of pollution. Water pollution compised of physical chemical, biological pollution. Escherichia coli a bacteria which initiates the biological pollution, can be found in the river, well, and PDAM water. This particular bacteria has become the major cause og waterpollution in several regions in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung Yogyakarta and Palembang. Efforts to reduce Escherichia coli pollutant in the body of water should be carry out by changing the public attitude. They should no trow away th etrashes onto the water and never use a river as place to bathe, wash and privy.
