Formulation of Anti Angin Crean and Foundation Preparation of Creen Tea Extract (Canellia sinensis L.)

The study was conducted to determine the antioxidant activity of green tea extracts (Camellia sinensis L.) and got the dosage formulation of anti-aving cream combination with foundation with three variations of the concentration of a stable extract, and could be use safely. Antioxidant activity assay was conducted by Diphenypicrylhydrazyl (DPPH). The results showed that green tea leaf extracts (Camellia sinensis L.) had antioxidant activity with 1050 value of 5,51 ppm and could be formulated with three variations of the extract concentration in the amount of 0,05%, 0,15%, and 0,25%. Then, it was conducted a physical quality test. including organoleptis, pH, viscosity, homogeneous, and centrifugation for 28 days of storage at temperature of 8°C, 25°C, and 40°C. Observations indicated that the result of the combination anti-aging cream with foundation preparation had good physical stability. Test result of antioxidant activity of the best cream preparations contained in the concentration of 0,25% and did not irritate the skin so that it could be use safely.
