General Inspector, Teater Koma., wayang
Wayang is an Indonesian traditional theatrical performance. The unique indigenous storytelling ofwayang is designated by Unesco as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity on 7 November 2003. Wayang become the source of creativity of the arts group named Teater Koma. This group adapted Nikolay Gogol’s play “General Inspector” in the form of wayang as their appreciation to this heritage, but also as a critic to government for their inconsistency in reducing corruption.
