It has been conducted about the matter of the modeling and simulation of gas flow in pipes. This simulation aims to discover the degree of the influence from the source pressure, viscosity, friction, tempratme and others factors torrard the velocity of gas flow in pipes The design developed is based on the Waterhammer equation by employng the methods of Finite Difference with the Lax-Friederich scheme. The assumption in the model is the gas flowed has the characteristics of single phase which is following the motion of Newton Incompressible concept that is indicated as the gas dynamic viscosity is linier to the acceleration rate. The result shows that the simulation could show the alteration of pressure and velocity of the gas flow which is influenced by some physics parameter.
