The main problem of this writing include the narrative discourse of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn novel. This narrative discourse analysis aims to show how narrative works in the novel. Basic argument of this paper uses the theory of Gerrard Genette’s Narrative Discourse. This study applied discourse analysis. Discourse as a complete unit of language is realized in the text of the novel. So, the criticism focuses on the art work on literary texts. This narrative through narratology approach related to the narrator, the identification of the structure elements, and the narrative when the narration is spoken. The Narrative story Huck Finn adventure structure studied in the narrative story of mood, voice and focalization. Focalization with respect to the figure / character of Huck Finn. The role was prominent and talked about himself and other figures. This narrative discourse created a story, a series of events in time. Narrative then identified through mood. Because Huck Finn is a character and narrator in the novel, the narrative discourse back on voice and focalization.
