Molecular Mechanism Of Aloe Vera as an Potential Herbal Medicine

Currently, the trends of alternative and complementary medicine are highly developed. In the last few decades, the National Health Statistics Report (NHSR) in America has shown substantial increases in the use of alternative and complementary drugs. The use of herbs as medications or supplementations should be through a good decision between patient and physician regarding potential risks, benefits, and other alternatives. Although many herbs exhibit promising effects, most of herbs have not been yet scientifically approved, include the molecular mechanism of it process. Within this topic, I would like to discuss Aloe vera, a potential local medicinal plants, from the cellular and molecular mechanisms aspect as our previous result.
