Senyawa Yang Beraktivitas Antifertilitas Dari Kulit Batang Alstonia Scholaris (Apocynaceae)

Alstonia scholaris, Antifertilitas, antifertility activity, cytosterol-3 β-D-galactose, secopregnane., seeo-pregnana, sitosterol-3β-Dsgalaktosa, β-amirin, β-amyrin
Tiga senyawa yang bersifat antifertilitas, yaitu β-amirin (1), seeo-pregnana (2) dan sitosterol-3β-D« galaktosa (3), telah diisolasi dari kulit batang Alstonia seholaris (Apocynaceae). Struktur kimia ketiga senyawa tersebut diidentifikasi berdasarkan data spektroskopi dan perbandingan data spektrum dengan yang telah dilaporkan sebelumnya. Senyawa 1-3 dievaluasi sifat antifertilitasnya terhadap spermatozoa manusia, dan pada konsentrasi 12,5 nglmL menurunkan motilitas dan viabilitas spermatozoa manusia berturut-turut sebesar 65%, 68%, 119%, dan 41%, 72%, 60%, serta meningkatkan abnormalitas berturut-turut sebesar 112%, 162%, and 56%.
Three antifertility compounds, namely β -amyrin (1), seco-pregnane (2) and cytosterol- 3β –D-galactose (3), were isolated from the bark of Alstonia scholaris (Apocynaceae). The chemical structures of these compounds were identified by spectroscopic data and by comparison with those previously reported. Compounds 1-3 were evaluated for their antifertility effects against human spermatozoas, and at concentrations of 12.5 ng/ml, decreased their motilities by 65%, 65%, and 119%, and viabilities by 41%, 72%, and 60%, respectively, and increased their abnormalities by 112%, 162%, and 56%, respectively.
