Melemahnya pertambangan dunia, berdampak pada perusahaan pertambangan di Indonesia. PT. MNK merupakan salah satu perusahaan tambang yang merasakan dampaknya, dan kondisi tersebut memengaruhi pandangan karyawan operator PT. MNK mengenai dukungan yang diberikan oleh organisasi atas kontribusi yang mereka berikan untuk organisasi. Bentuk dukungan yang diberikan oleh organisasi dapat memengaruhi kesejahteraan karyawan di tempat kerja, sekaligus untuk menunjang efektivitas pekerjaan dan pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Perceived Organizational Support terhadap Workplace Well-Being pada karyawan operator bagian manufacturing PT. Multi Nitrotama Kimia. pengumpulan data pada variabel perceived organizational support mengacu pada alat ukur Survey Perceived Organizational Support (SPOS) dari Eisenberger (1986). Sementara alat ukur workplace well-being mengacu pada Workplace Well-Being Index (WWBI) dari Page (2005). Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 52 karyawan operator. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perceived organizational support secara signifikan memengaruhi workplace well-being karyawan operator bagian manufacturing sebesar 27.5 % sementara 72.5 % sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diukur dalampenelitian ini. Hasil tersebut terlihat bahwa dukungan yang diberikan oleh PT. Multi Nitrotama Kimia memiliki peran terhadap tinggi rendahnya Workplace Well-Being karyawan. Rancangan intervensi disusun dengan mengarah pada pengembangan perceived organizational support dengan cara meningkatkan pemaknaan terhadap dukungan organisasi yang masih tergolong moderate, program intervensi yang dilakukan terdiri dari sosialisasi organisasi dan diskusi “employee sharing”.
Weakening mining in the world, have an impact on mining company in Indonesia. PT. MNK is one of the mining companies which feeling its impact, and the condition affect the view of employees of PT. MNK about support provided by an organization for contributions which they give to the organization. Form of its support given by an organization can influence the workplace well-being of employee, as well as to support the effectiveness of employment and the achievement of an organization goal. This study aims to determine the effect of Perceived Organizational Support on Workplace Well-Being on employees of the manufacturing department of PT. Multi Nitrotama Chemistry. Data collection on perceived organizational support variables refers to a measurement tool for Survey Perceived Organizational Support (SPOS) from Eisenberger (1986). While the measuring tool for workplace well-being refers to the Workplace Well-Being Index (WWBI) of Page (2005). The study was conducted on 52 operator employees of PT. Multi Nitrotama Kimia. The results showed that perceived organizational support has a significant influence toward workplace well-being of operator employees by 27.5% while the remaining 72.5% was influenced by other variables not measured in this study. These results show that the support provided by PT. Multi Nitrotama Kimia has a role in the high and low Workplace Well-Being of employees. The intervention design was constructed to focus on the development of perceived organizational support by improving perception towards organization support in middle level. The intervention program that has been designed consist of organizational socialization and employee sharing discussion.
