Trend of education in Indonesia is now changing into business oriented relying on the market needs. Government regulation does not indicate to help social needs and education institutions are mushrooming simultaneously, resulting more people are marginalized. The shows of education business enter into a straight competition, resulting complexity of human resources management and variety of market needs in education quality. The market trends are now emphasized on the costumers satisfaction. Consequently, the institutions should possess competitive advantages in using information technology and modern management. This paper discusses how competitive advantages for education business is prominent. The competitive values include human resources, learning-facilities, media, and methods of instruction. In addition, cultural knowledge, work orientation, nationalism, and attention to low income customers are also very important to note.
