Attempt to use ultraviolet (UV) light for the making of nonpathogenic strains of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici (FOL) have been carried out in laboratory conditions. The suspension of FOL were exposed to UV light for duration of 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes. The distance between suspensions and UV light source was 5 cm. Result of the research obtained 13 strains of FOL with different pathogenecity. Two strains in comparison with the wild-type of FOL demonstrated an ability to have a degradation ofits pathogenecity, while 11 strains experienced loss of pathogenecity to crop, and it was suspected to mutate to be nonpathogenic trains.
