Abstrak

Aktivitas Antimikroba Ekstrak Herba Tespong (Oenanthe Javavica D.C) Terhadap Eschericia Coli, Staphylococcus Aureus Dan Candida Albicans

Telah dilakukan uji aktivitas antimikroba dari ekstrak etanol herba Tespong (Oenanthe javanica D.C) terhadap Escherichia coli, Stapylococcus aureus dan Candida albicans. Uji ini dilakukan secara in vitro dengan metode difusi dengan metode sumur sebagai pencadang. Hasil penelitian ini didapat nilai KHM dari herba Tespong (Oenanthe javanica D.C) untuk Escherichia coli dan Stapylococcus aureus yaitu 0,17 g/mL dan untuk Candida albicans 0,06 g/mL. Nilai kesetaraan 1 mg ekstrak etanol herba Tespong (Oenanthe javanica D.C) terhadap antibiotik tetrasiklin HCl adalah 1,4427 x 10-3 mg untuk Escherichia coli, 1,466 x 10-3 mg untuk Staphylococcus aureus sedangkan dengan antibiotik ketokonazol 2,5697 x 10-3 mg untuk Candida albicans.

Antimicrobial activity test from tespong ethanol extract (Oenanthe javanica D.C) to Escherichia coli, Stapylococcus aureus and Candida albicans has been done. This test was done with in vitro test using diffusion method with well method as reserve. Result of this research showed MIC value from tespong (Oenanthe javanica D.C.) for Escherichia coli dan Stapylococcus aureus are 0,17 g/mL and for Candida albicans is 0,06 g/mL. Antibiotik equivalence value of 1 mg tespong ethanol extract to tetracycline HCl is 1,4427 x 10-3 mg for Escherichia coli, 1,466 x 10-3 mg for Staphylococcus aureus and with antibiotic ketoconazole is 2,5697 x 10-3 mg for Candida albicans.
