To be effective, an organization need to employ the good employees with high job satisfaction and high level of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The main goal of the present research is to verify the dimensions of OCB, and to test the effect of job satisfaction on OCB. Survey methods using questionnaire adopted for getting primary data from the respondents who are the faculty members of public and private universities in Bengkulu Provinces. Two-hundred-and-seventyseven out of 321 respondents completed 40 items questionnaire distributed. Data were analyzed by Factor analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis, using SPSS 12.00. Result showed that OCB consisted of 5 dimensions, namely conscientiousness, sportsmanship, civic virtue, courtesy, and altruism. Furthermore, result also showed that Job satisfaction affect OCB, altruism, conscientiousness, sportsmanship, courtesy and civic virtue positively. Pay satisfaction negatively affect conscientiousness. Promotion satisfaction positively affect OCB and civic virtue. Satisfaction with partner positively affect OCB and altruism, and negatively affect civic virtue. Satisfaction with partner positively affect OCB and conscientiousness, and negatively affect altruism, sportsmanship, and civic virtue. work itself positively affect OCB, altruism, conscientiousness, sportsmanship, courtesy and civic virtue.
