The research was conducted to find out the effect of various land use and slope classes on soil’s bulk density, total porosity, and soil’s water content. The research was carried out from April 2007 up to May 2007 in sub-DAS Cikapundung Hulu which area was located in Lembang District, Weat Bandung Regency, West Java. The research was done with free survey method or land unit method. Sampling technique was based on purposive stratified sampling method. Soil sampling was carried onto three type of land uses, consist of dry land cultivations, forest, and forest of pinus, in the three classes of slope, as follow 8-15%, 15-30%, and 30-45%. The result of this research showed that various land use had significant effect on the value of soil’s bulk density, total porosity, and soil’s water content. Based on Duncan test, an optimum value of soil’s bulk density, and an minimum value of total porosity and soil’s water content reached by dry land cultivations. Slope had no significant effect for soil’s bulk density and total porosity, but slope had significant effect for soil’s water content. class of 15-30% and 30-45% had an minimum value for soil’s water content.
