Tujuan penelitian mengetahui jumlah total bakteri dan koliform pada feses sapi potong yang dicampur dengan serbuk gergaji melalui proses biogas pada tingkat nisbah C/N yang berbeda. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental dengan tiga perlakuan yaitu nisbah C/N 20 (T20), 25 (T25), dan 30 (T30) dengan enam ulangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Uji Sidik Ragam kemudian perbedaaan antar perlakuan dilakukan dengan uji Tukey. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh proses biogas terhadap jumlah total bakteri dan koliform dilakukan melalui uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perlakuan C/N tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah total bakteri dan jumlah koliform pada sludge gasbio dan (2) proses biogas berpengaruh nyata terhadap peningkatan jumlah total bakteri dan menurunkan jumlah koliform pada sludge gasbio.
This research aim to know reducing coliform and total bacteria through biogas processing of beef cattle faeces mixed with wood shavings with different C/N ratio. This experimental was arranged based on Completly Randomized Design, with three types of C/N ratio (T20= C/N ratio 20, T25 = C/N ratio 25, T30 = C/N ratio 30 and each of them was replicated 6 times. The data was statistically analized by using Analize of Variance, then the different of treatment analized by Tukey. To compare between two average were calculated by t’test. The result of research showed that C/N ratio were (1) not significantly different to amount of total bacteria and coliform on sludge, and (2) biogas processed were significantly different to increasing the number of total bacteria and reducing coliform bacteria on sludge.
